This past Friday we celebrated our 6th Z-day, ringing in Zachary's 6th birthday. Wow. 6. already. Amazing that it's been 6 years since his sweet chunky 9lb 4oz self popped right into this world at 5:41pm on Thursday February 12, 2004. Even inutero Zachary was a mover and a shaker and I have always told people I could tell his personality before he was born. He was always a movin' and a groovin'...and still is. He likes to keep his happy little self busy busy. He is a tender heart with lots of love to give. He loves his brothers like crazy...don't get me wrong they certainly have their moments. He and Gavin are quite similar with their boisterous mischievous personalities and often bump heads. Jakeb and Zachary compliment each other so very well and for the most part keep a smooth sailing relationship. Zachary is such an amazing awesome little boy. He is a fun loving, happy boy. And I hope he stays that way, full of life and happiness. Innocence and emotion. At 6 he loves to help me with anything in the kitchen, loves to please and loves to play. He is becoming a bit more picky with his eating but remains to be the best eater in the house...he often can put down more food than I can. He is learning to read and is very proud of himself for being able to do first grade math. He is "beyond level" in reading per his last report card and is excelling in every area at school. He's rarely in trouble and is still a completely different kid at school than he is at home. At school he is quiet and keeps to himself...at home he is wild and loud. He happily does crafts with me and is crazy about playing the Wii or DS. He still hasn't lost any teeth but has 4 that are becoming loose. He learned shortly before turning 5 to ride a bike without training wheels and learned a few months after school started to tie his shoes. He still sleeps like a wild boy and has a pillow on the floor by his bed in case he falls. He has been taking singulair for the past 4-5 months and it seems to have helped calm his lingering cough down a great deal. He is still crazy about Caroline his "girlfriend" whom he insists he is going to marry. He talks about her all the time and asks constantly when he can see her. He has made several friends at school and even had 3 of them over for a sleepover for his birthday party. His birthday party was at home this year and he wanted to have a sleepover with a few friends. It was a good time for him!
Whoops published too soon! Zachary is an amazing boy and I am so incredibly proud of him. Happy 6th Birthday my Zachario!
