Holy snow storm batman. Several weeks ago it snowed...and snowed...and snowed but you would have never known it snowed for days because it just wouldn't stick. We are currently going on the 11th hour of straight snow falling from the sky and have at the very least 3in. but I am thinking closer to 4 even 5 in some areas. It is slowly switching from snow to ice falling. And this trend is supposed to continue until tomorrow afternoon.
Robert is not here. We are all very bummed. All flights into Nashville were canceled. He was able to get a flight from Wisconsin to Atlanta. Not close enough and no way do we want him attempting the drive home. Tons of snow and no Daddy to play with makes for 2 very bummed boys (Gavin doesn't know to care yet) and 1 bummed Mommy. But such is life...if we lived in Atlanta like we are considering this wouldn't be an issue...of course we also wouldn't have snow to play in either. This is a lot of snow people. Nashville government offices shut down at 12pm. The city is c.l.o.s.e.d. Parts of the interstate have been closed. We are hunkering down. It's gorgeous out, I can't wait to wake up in the morning to see what we get overnight! Fingers crossed it's not lots of ice and a cold house because we have no power. That would be not so fun.
